Dunblane Hydro Hotel, Scotland
Luxury Hotel In Scotland

About the hotel

Dunblane HydroIt was back in 1878 that people first started coming to Dunblane Hydro to ’take the waters’. Now, more than a century later, people are still coming – but it’s no longer the therapeutic qualities of the local spring that are the big attraction. This beautifully luxurious Victorian hotel has a lot more to offer.

Dunblane Hydro is one of Scotland's best known hotels, a grand, modernised leisure and conference resort, set within and around the 10 acres of gardens of this impressive Italianate, Victorian mansion. Superb conference, meeting and banqueting facilities, amongst the best of any hotels in Scotland, combine with a uniquely central location, and wonderful leisure facilities to make it an irresistible event for business events in Scotland.

Located in the idyllic Perthshire countryside – but just 45 minutes from Edinburgh and Glasgow – Dunblane Hydro is the perfect venue for weddings, conferences or just a few days getting away from it all. An ideal base for touring around Stirling, the Trossachs and Perthshire, as well as for short and weekend leisure breaks in Scotland. We are also right in the middle of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Whatever you need to make your stay effortlessly enjoyable can be found within these elegant walls.

Dunblane HydroThere are 206 bedrooms, including twins and doubles. The majority of the rooms are situated in the modern extension wing, stretching out to the right hand side of the original house. Apart from standard double rooms, there are superior doubles at the far end of the corridors. These superior doubles offer a little more space and feature a sofa. However, it's an unusual and welcome touch to offer the guest something different from home.
