adventure sports

Other Fun things to do in the area include...

Laser Clay Shoot

Locally based in Stirling, The Laser Clay Shoot is a mobile unit and can be used in sports clubs, hotel grounds, business premises, leisure centres, car parks, shows and fetes. Laser clay shooting offers something different for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays or an anytime gift.

Lasersport clay shooting is a sport which can be enjoyed by everyone. The players use a modified shotgun to fire an infrared beam at clays launched from a conventional clay launcher whenever a trigger is pulled, the Lasersport control module/scoreboard generates the shotgun 'bang' and when a player hits the target it reproduces the sound of a breaking clay.

Sailing and watersports

An exciting sailing opportunity in this area is the Millennium Link - the project which links the major cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. This has resulted in the opportunity to sail coast to coast across Scotland using the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals. The link between the two waterways is provided by the spectacular Falkirk Wheel at Tamfourhill just outside Falkirk - the world's first rotating boatlift.

C-N-Do Scotland

C-N-Do Scotland, based in Stirling, offer professionally guided walking holidays and activities throughout the whole Scottish Mainland and Islands. All ages, all abilities, all year. Since 1984, C-N-Doers have been savouring the joys of Scotland's outdoors - easy hikes to wilderness backpacking; long distance trails to ridge walking; wildlife walks to scrambling, learning to navigate or climb, the choice is yours. Small groups, informal ambience and qualified leaders ensure the walks have that extra something special. We hold an AALA licence for trekking and climbing.
